Within the framework of a bilateral project entitled "Expanding the Capacity and Services of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina II" supported by the Government of the Czech Republic through the Czech Development Agency (CDA), which is being implemented in cooperation with the Czech Metrology Institute (CMI), covered the theoretical and practical part related to the analysis of natural gas constituents by gas chromatography technique, as well as the presentation on accreditation according to the requirements of EN ISO 17034: 2016.
The training was delivered by experts Jan Beránek and Matilda Roziková in front of the Czech Metrology Institute (CMI), from December 2 – 6, 2019, on the premises of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The training included practical and theoretical training related to the analysis of natural gas components by gas chromatography (NGA GC / FID / TCD), processing of results obtained from natural gas analysis, components and measurement uncertainty, and accreditation information according to the requirements of EN ISO 17034: 2016.
This training expanded the capacity of the staff to work on the mentioned instrumentation for the analysis of natural gas constituents, and exchanged experiences and proposed new possibilities of cooperation between the Czech Metrology Institute and the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
