Through the cooperation of the European Network for Business and Industrial Statistics (itENBIS), The European Centre for Mathematics and Statistics in Metrology (MATHMET) and the National Institute of Metrological Research (INRIM), the Scientific Conference on the Application of Mathematical and Statistical Methods for Metrology MSMM 2019 (Mathematical and Statistical Methods for Metrology). The conference was held at the National Metrology Institute of Italy (INRIM) in Turin, from  May 30 to  May 31, 2019.

Employees of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina presented two papers on the topic of conformity and measurement uncertainty at the Conference:

-          ''Measurement Uncertainty Evaluation and Correlation Analysis of Gas Flow Measurements in a System of Three Parallel Pipes'' (Autori: Z. Džemić, V. Karahodžić, A. Bošnjaković, M. Čaušević)

-          ''The Role of the Measurement Uncertainty in the Decision Making Process of Conformity Assessment'' (Autori: A. Bošnjaković, V. Karahodžić, Z. Džemić, E.Jugo)

The conference was attended by over fifty participants including participants from other national metrology institutes such as Portugal (IPQ), United Kingdom (NPL), France (LNE), Germany (PTB), Netherlands (VSL), Poland (GUM).

For the first time, the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina had its representative, A. Bošnjaković,  who had the privilege of being a member of the Scientific Committee, and who worked on reviewing and approving the submitted papers for the conference. The Scientific Committee was composed of prestigious experts from the European metrology community such as Maurice Cox (NPL), Clemens Elster (PTB), Nicolas Fischer (LNE), Alistair Forbes (NPL), Adriaan van der Veen (VSL), Luca Zilberti ), Francesca Pennecchi, Co-chair (INRIM) and others.
