On the 24th October 2022., Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina hosted a group of undergraduate students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Sarajevo. The leader of the students’ group was Prof. Dr. Almira Softić and the visit was organized as part of the course Production Measuring Technique. Employees of the Institute for Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina held an introductory presentation on the founding of the Institute, its organizational structure, participation in international projects, metrology, and measurement units in general. After the introductory presentation, the students had the opportunity to visit the laboratories located on the premises of the Institute, namely: Laboratory for Volume and Flow, Laboratory for Pressure, Laboratory for Time and Frequency, Laboratory for Electrical Quantities, Laboratory for Temperature and Humidity and Laboratory for Chemistry. Heads of Laboratories presented their laboratories with short presentations and were available to answer students’ questions.
