Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina on September 2, 2019 signed the Agreement on scientific-research, educational and technical cooperation with the business entity TTKabeli d.o.o. Široki Brijeg. By this Agreement, the Parties define common interests and wish to establish technical, scientific, research, educational and other forms of cooperation in the relevant fields in the field of metrology and quality systems.

The agreement covers:

- working together to improve and expand laboratory capacity to certify products and control imported products;

- working on accreditation of laboratory facilities for testing and certification purposes;

- providing support to human resources during staff training and development;

- scientific-research activity on preparation of preliminary design documentation and realization of international and domestic projects;

- joint participation in the organization of seminars, workshops, courses, etc. ;

- joint publication of scientific papers in relevant journals;

- exchange of information for the purpose of improving regulatory documents in the field of metrology and jurisdiction of IMBiH;

- exchange of professional documentation in relevant fields; and

- exchange of contacts with potential partners and clients at home and abroad.

This Agreement represents another initiative of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina to support local partners and production in order to increase the competitiveness of products from domestic production on the domestic and international markets. The implementation of the Agreement will be carried out on a continuous basis in accordance with the specified activities and obligations of the Parties under defined six-month action plans.
