In the period of August 27-29, 2019 The Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina was the subject of an evaluation of the Quality Management System. On this occasion, an integral quality management system was evaluated based on the implementation of various standards that are essential for the smooth functioning of the Institute in the provision of laboratory services, i.e. standards:

BAS EN ISO / IEC 17020 - Conformity assessment - Requirements for the operation of various types of inspection body

The evaluation was conducted by Dr.Enver Sadikoglu from UME (Institute of Metrology of Turkey), who is a top expert in this field, a member of the steering committee of the EURAMET Technical Quality Committee (former chair of EURAMET TC-Q).

This evaluation also covers the Institute's competencies in implementing the new edition of EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2017, which all the Institutes and DIs operating within EURAMET must fully implement by the end of next year.

The evaluation has been registered as EURAMET Project 1482 and a report on it will be presented at the next EURAMET Technical Committee Meeting.
