The Laboratory for Volume and Flow (LV) of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina has proven its competencies in the field of small volumes at the international level through successful participation in laboratory intercomparison organized by European Association of National Metrology Institutes (EURAMET). 

The International Committee for Weights and Measures (CIPM) has published the new calibration and measurement capabilities (CMC) in the Key Comparison Database (KCDB), as follows (link):

·         Calibration of laboratory glassware (flasks, pipettes, measuring cylinders, etc.) in the range 10 mL – 5000 mL with uncertainty 0.1% - 0.03%,  

·         Calibration of piston operating apparatus (micropipettes, dispensers, etc.) in the range 20 µL – 5000 µL with uncertainty 0.6% - 0.3%

Together with already published CMC, the laboratory has proven its competencies in the fields of medium and small volumes.

For the all services listed in the KCDB database, the calibration certificates issued by Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina are automatically recognized by national metrology institutes what means the Institute can offer the calibration services in accordance to the highest standards.
