The first calibration and measurement capabilities (CMC) in the field of liquid volume were entered

The Laboratory for Volume and Flow (LV) of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina has proven its competencies at the international level through successful participation in intercomparison organized by EURAMET. The International Committee on Weights and Measures (BIPM) has published the calibration and metrology capabilities of the laboratory in the Key Comparison Database (KCDB).

The laboratory has proven its competencies in the field of calibration of standard capacity measures and measuring vessels in the range of 1 to 50 liters with a measurement uncertainty of 0.02%

In this way, for the services listed in the KCDB database, the certificates issued are automatically recognized by all national metrology institutes (NMIs) under the auspices of the International Committee on Weights and Measures. This practically means that all clients of the Institute of Metrology can receive a calibration service in Bosnia and Herzegovina in accordance with the highest world standards.
