Workshop is organized in the scope of the European research project EURA-THERMAL in which IMBIH is a partner to other national metrology institutes and designated institutes, working on work package one together with colleagues from France, Turkey, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia.

Main goal of the first working package is construction of the silver fixed point and dissemination of the knowledge and capabilities in high temperature contact thermometry.

First day was dedicated to strengthening relationships with measurement society and industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Partners from France, Turkey, Croatia and Slovenia took part on this workshop, as well as participants from accredited laboratories, industry, accreditation body and university.

During the first day, participants have had an opportunity to learn about EURA-THERMAL project, technical and measurement challenges in construction of silver fixed point and to see presentation on calibration of thermocouples by comparison method and in fixed points. Workshop was an opportunity to exchange information and ideas about need for calibration on high temperatures, about ways and means of future cooperation and to present the results of the WEB survey about needs for this calibration services.

On the second workshop day partners on projects have evaluated work already done in project, planned next steps and discussed possible technical solutions, and have worked together on software for data acquisition and evaluation for calibration on fixed points.
