Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IMBiH) signed Memorandum of Understanding with the Uzbek National Institute of Metrology (UZNIM) in Sarajevo on April 11. The memorandum was signed by the directors of the said institutes, Zijad Džemić and Mr. Akbarjon Daminov

Uzbek National Institute of Metrology and Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina are members of COOMET, regional metrological organization.

With this Memorandum, mutual assistance in the development of metrology in both the field of scientific and legal metrology was defined. Activities will be carried out through the knowledge transfer, providing calibration services and organization of metrological comparisons with the aim of speeding up the process of international recognition of new fields of metrology, i.e. publishing and confirmation of metrological competences.
