Memorandum of Understanding between the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the State Office for Metrology of Republic of Croatia was signed in Sarajevo on April 26, 2018. Memorandum was signed by general directors of the said institutions, Mr. Zijad Džemić and Ms. Brankica Novosel. This Memorandum represents a renewal of the set goals and extension of activities covered by the earlier MoU between these two institutions.

Memorandum was signed during the WELMEC Committee held in Sarajevo, in which both institutions took part as members.

Memorandum defined mutual assistance in development of legal metrology focusing on the exchange of experience in implementing legislation in the field of legal metrology, personnel exchange, knowledge transfer, organization of seminars, workshops and training in specific fields of metrology, and all with the aim of strengthening metrology systems of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republic of Croatia.
