Through this Service Catalogue, the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IMBIH) provides clients with direct access to its developed laboratory and other technical services, as well as to the measurement standards and equipment it possesses, including their documented calibration and measurement capabilities. The technical services covered by the Catalogue include:

-        calibration services for measuring instruments;

-        chemical testing services;

-        proficiency testing (PT) scheme organisation;

-        interlaboratory comparison (ILC) organisation;

-        preparation of certified reference materials/reference materials;

-        verification services for measuring instruments; and

-        knowledge transfer services.

IMBIH has established the national measurement standards database in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The national measurement standards represent the highest level of metrological quality in the country and are intended to ensure metrological traceability in Bosnia and Herzegovina. They serve as the basis for determining the values of all other measurement standards of the same quantities. International recognition of calibration and measurement capabilities (CMCs) has been confirmed under the CIPM Mutual Recognition Arrangement (CIPM MRA).

IMBIH provides calibration services within the scope of its capabilities recognised under the CIPM MRA, as well as other services developed by its laboratories as part of their broader scope of activities. These services are supported by participation in international interlaboratory comparisons and ensure the traceability of measurement results to recognised higher-order standards. In addition, certain IMBIH services have been confirmed through accreditations granted in accordance with BAS EN ISO/IEC 17025, BAS EN ISO/IEC 17020, BAS EN ISO/IEC 17043 and BAS EN ISO 17034, as well as through its participation in the IAEA/WHO Secondary Standards Dosimetry Laboratory (SSDL) Network.
