Representatives of the Laboratory for Mass and Related Quantities participated in the 4th RADWAG Metrology Symposium, dedicated to international cooperation and developments in metrology. Participants had the opportunity to attend presentations by representatives from different NMIs, as well as representatives from RADWAG, the symposium host. The presentations covered various topics, including the development of metrology laboratories, international cooperation, modern weighing technologies, and support for industry provided by national metrology institutes.

The first day of the symposium was devoted to demonstrating state-of-the-art metrological solutions, including automatic and manual mass comparators, systems for determining the density and volume of mass standards, pipette calibration equipment, and laboratory balances. Following the morning session, participants attended the official opening of the new headquarters of the RADWAG Metrology, Testing and Certification Centre in Wacławów, near Radom.

The second day of the symposium was devoted to state-of-the-art solutions used in national metrology institutes and the development of technologies that enable the achievement and maintenance of the highest levels of measurement accuracy. The programme began with a visit to the Świętokrzyskie Laboratory Campus of the Central Office of Measures in Kielce, where participants had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with its modern research and laboratory infrastructure.

The third day of the symposium was practical in nature; it focused on the presentation of modern technologies and their applications in metrology, scientific research and industry. The programme comprised four parallel thematic tracks, allowing participants to choose the topics that best suited their interests.

The Laboratory for Mass and Related Quantities continues its international cooperation, demonstrating its role as a reliable and committed partner in the field of metrology.
