The Director of the Institute of Metrology of BiH, accompanied by her associates, attended the ceremony in Podgorica marking the 20th anniversary of the Bureau of Metrology of Montenegro. In her address, director Gordana Bajić reminded the attendees that the tradition of metrological regulation in Montenegro dates back to 1888, however, she noted that a new phase of development and the establishment of the national metrology institution began following the restoration of Montenegro's independence in 2006. Over the past two decades, national measurement standards and laboratories have been established, professional capacities built, and international and regional cooperation fostered. To mark the jubilee, the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, presented certificates of appreciation to individuals and institutions that have made significant contributions to the development of the Bureau and metrology in Montenegro over the last twenty years. Among others, Ms. Milica Ristović Krstić, Director of the Institute of Metrology of BiH, received a certificate of appreciation on behalf of the Institute.
