The Temperature and Humidity Laboratory of the Institute for Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IMBiH) has recently achieved a significant success in its field. Specifically, the laboratory has expanded its previously confirmed and registered scope of Calibration and Measurement Capabilities (CMC) in the Key Comparison Database (KCDB) of the International Committee for Weights and Measures (BIPM), adding 16 new CMC lines in the field of temperature measurement.
A total of 34 CMC lines of the Temperature and Humidity Laboratory of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IMBiH) are now officially published in the Key Comparison Database (KCDB) of the BIPM, ensuring international recognition of the temperature sensor calibration methods within certain ranges. With this achievement, the total number of CMC lines published by the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the KCDB database of the International Committee for Weights and Measures (BIPM) has increased to 110.
This success is the result of the laboratory’s active and long-standing participation in EURAMET projects and interlaboratory comparisons. The services of the Temperature and Humidity Laboratory are internationally recognized through the published CMCs in the KCDB database.
The CIPM MRA logo will be visible on the calibration certificates, and for the industry of Bosnia and Herzegovina, this will mean an easier path to internationally recognized calibrations.
This achievement allows our clients to obtain calibration in Bosnia and Herzegovina that meets the highest global standards. The laboratory will continue to expand its measurement capabilities and expects to confirm new competencies in the upcoming year, further broadening the scope of its services.
