Between April 1st and 3rd, 2025, the 36th meeting of the EURAMET Technical Committee for Flow (TC-F) was held in Tres Cantos, Spain. The meeting was attended by around 60 representatives of National Metrology Institutes (NMIs) from 28 countries. A representative from the Laboratory for Volume and Flow of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina (LV IMBIH) also took part in this meeting.

The event brought together experts from leading European metrology institutions, aiming to exchange experiences, present the status of ongoing projects, and define strategic development directions in the fields of fluid flow, volume, and velocity measurement. The program included plenary presentations, work in subcommittees, and discussions on future TC-F activities.

One of the key moments for LV IMBIH was participation in the meeting of the volume subgroup, coordinated by Elsa Batista, head of the Volume and Flow Laboratory at IPQ (NMI Portugal).

During the three-day TC-F meeting, the latest initiatives and trends were also presented in the areas of small gas flows, microflows, and digitalization in metrology.

The participation of IMBIH representatives in this meeting enabled the acquisition of valuable knowledge, the establishment of new professional contacts, and the strengthening of the capacities of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina in fields crucial for the further development of the Laboratory for Volume and Flow.
