Laboratory for precious metals of the Institute for Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina has proven its competence at the international level through the entry of CMC line (Calibration and Measurement Capabilities) in BIPM KCDB database on July 8^th 2015.

CMC line is chemistry related in the field of testing of metals and metal alloys, namely gold content in yellow gold alloys which are used in the jewellery in the range of 375 to 750‰.

By the realisation of this entry the Laboratory has achieved the highest goal in the field of scientific metrology, thus promoting both the Institute and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
