From July 1st, 2024 to July 5th, 2024 representative of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IMBIH) participated in the international symposium IEEE "Measurement&Networking" which took place at the prestigious "La Sapienza" University in Rome, Italy. At this symposium, a paper entitled "S-Parameter Analysis of Age Testing Effects on FR4-based Printed Circuit Boards up to 10GHz" was presented, in which the results of testing and evaluation of electrical performance of integrated electronic components in real working conditions and specific environmental conditions of temperature and relative humidity were described. These results represent the realization of the tasks of the work package WP3 within the framework of the EMPIR project "RF measurements for future communications application (FutureCom)". The authors of this paper are representatives of the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) UK, Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IMBIH) and the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio (UNICAS), Italy. The symposium covered a wide range of topics such as: digitization in mobile systems, measuring the impact of electromagnetic radiation on sensitive areas, GNSS-based speed measurement for smart mobile systems, EMC modeling and measurement for modern vehicles, etc.
Various representatives of the academic community, research institutions, industry, as well as world-renowned manufacturers of measuring equipment were present at the symposium.
