Director of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milica Ristović Krstić, with the head of the chemistry laboratory of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Katarina Hafner Vuk, visited the Agency for Forensic Examinations and Expertises, where they were hosted by the director of the agency, Radiša Samardžija. During the meeting, information was exchanged about the competences of the two institutions, organizational structures, results, as well as plans for the future.
The motive for the meeting was cooperation in areas of mutual interest, which mostly concern chemical testing, which is common to both institutions, as well as calibration services of measuring devices, which the Institute of Metrology has been providing to the Agency for Forensic Testing and Expertise for some time. The exchange of experiences and the provision of mutual services in the future will be imperative in the cooperation of the two institutions.
During the visit, the director and head of the chemistry laboratory visited the laboratories of the Agency for Forensic Examinations and Expertises, and learned more about the activities in the laboratory for chemical-toxicological expertise and the laboratory for chemical-physical expertise, their quality system, and future development plans.
