The second session of the Metrology Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held on February 23, 2024. at the premises of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This convocation of the Council for Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina was made official by the "Decision on the appointment of members of the Council for Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina" adopted at the 18th session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina held on October 22, 2020. ("Official Gazette of Bosnia and Herzegovina", number 75/20, dated November 20, 2020).

The session was chaired by the president of the Council, Dr. Dragana Kalabić, and in addition to the council members, directors of entity metrology institutes were also present. They praised the work of the Council and expressed their determination to intensify cooperation in this area.

The General Director of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina presented the work of the Institute aiming to acquaint the Council with the achievements in the past period, and the planned activities. The members of the Council got acquainted with the Report on the work of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the year 2023 and the Plan of the work of the Institute for the year 2024.
