In accordance with the agreement on scientific and technical cooperation with the Universities of B&H, on 22nd December 2023, the Institute of Metrology of B&H (IMBIH) hosted students of the Electrical Engineering Faculty of the University of East Sarajevo. The aim of the visit was to inform the students about the IMBIH activities and its existing metrology infrastructure. The technical activities of the laboratory for electrical quantities, the laboratory for time and frequency and the laboratory for temperature and humidity was presented to the students. 

We consider this cooperation has highly importance both for academy and IMBIH. On the one hand, the academic community becomes aware of the capacity of the Institute, which opens the possibility for inter-institutional cooperation on scientific research and development projects in the future. On the other hand, the Institute through this process promotes the importance of metrology and raises awareness of its importance as an element of the quality system of every country. 

The IMBIH will continue to support every kind of cooperation with the academic community, and continue to promote the importance of metrology in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the future.
