The Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IMBIH) has published a new CMC in the pressure field (https://www.bipm.org/kcdb/) in the CIPM MRA database (KCDB). The BIPM key comparison database (KCDB) is a freely available web resource related to the CIPM Mutual Recognition Arrangement (CIPM MRA). The CIPM MRA is the framework through which National Metrology Institutes demonstrate international equivalence for their measurement standards and mutual acceptance for the calibration and measurement certificates they issue. The primary arrangement outcome is the internationally recognized Calibration and Measurement Capabilities (CMCs). IMBIH has published 84 CMCs in the CIPM MRA database (KCDB) in the various metrological fields, as follows: AC voltage, current, and power (6), DC voltage, current, and resistance (20), Fluid flow (3), Frequency (11), Humidity (3), Mass, mass standard (8), Pressure (5), Temperature (15), Time interval (9), Time scale difference (3), and Yellow gold jewellery alloys (1). In addition to this, IMBIH published the first CMC in 2012 in the mass field and signed the CIPM MRA agreement in 2011 (https://www.bipm.org/en/cipm-mra/participation/). In 12 years, IMBIH has made tremendous progress in international recognition among national metrology institutes and economies. Furthermore, IMBIH plays a crucial role in the Western Balkans region and Bosnia and Herzegovina from the scientific, industry and legal metrology perspective, providing internationally recognized services for all stakeholders. The comparison and CMC data in the KCDB have been approved through a peer-review process within the CIPM MRA agreement. Furthermore, all metrology institutes keep quality systems meeting appropriate international standards, and these systems have been reviewed and accepted for publishing their results in the KCDB. All IMBIH CMC data have been reviewed and approved by all regional metrology organizations, and all IMBIH CMC data can be found on the following link: https://www.bipm.org/kcdb/cmc/quick-search?keywords=IMBiH. The KCDB provides users with reliable information regarding national metrology services and provides the technical basis for more comprehensive agreements negotiated for international trade, commerce, and regulatory affairs.
