Director of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina, M.Sc. sc. Milica Ristović Krstić and director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Registers and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina, prof. Ph.D. Almir Badnjević, met in the premises of the Metrology Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo to discuss key aspects of inter-institutional cooperation, with a special emphasis on ensuring the accurate time for the needs of the electronic signature.

This constructive meeting between two representatives of institutions in the field of metrology and identification represents a significant step forward in strengthening the integrity and reliability of electronic transactions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The main point of discussion during the meeting was ensuring accurate and indisputably verified time is crucial for electronic signature, regardless of the sector or domain of application.

Professor dr. Almir Badnjević, director of the Agency for Identification Documents, Records and Data Exchange, emphasized the importance of this cooperation, saying: "The electronic signature has become an indispensable part of modern business and communication. In order to ensure the integrity and security of electronic transactions, we must rely on accurate and reliable time. This meeting marks the beginning of our joint effort to ensure that Bosnia and Herzegovina has a real-time resource that can be reliably used in electronic signatures.”

Mr. sc. Milica Ristović Krstić, director of the Metrology Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina, added: "The Metrology Institute has rich experience in the field of metrology and accurate time.
