The director of IMBIH, Milica Ristović Krstić, participated on September 8 and 9 in the session of the General Council and the Technical Committee of the IMEKO organization, which was held in Budapest.
IMEKO is a non-governmental international federation founded in 1958 and celebrated its 65th anniversary on this occasion. Currently, its membership includes 41 organizations from all over the world that are individually engaged in the improvement of technology and measurement techniques. IMEKO was founded with the aim of international exchange of scientific and technical information, promotion of metrology and instrumentation, and strengthening of international cooperation between scientists and engineers in the fields of research and industry. IMBIH joined in September 2022.
The main body in IMEKO is the General Council and it consists of one or two members from each member state, and its activities are carried out by over 25 technical committees.
IMBiH experts work in 14 technical committees of this organization, at which the president of IMEKO, Mr. Frank Hatrig, expressed special gratitude to IMBIH for the contribution of experts in the work of technical committees.
