From June 12 to June 16, 2023, representatives of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina visited the Czech Metrology Institute in Brno. The main objective of the visit was to expand knowledge about the implementation of the international standard ISO 17034:2016 - General requirements for the competence of reference material producers.

The most significant part of the visit was the training program aimed at familiarizing the representatives of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the basic requirements for reference material producers. Through engaging lectures, interactive workshops, and practical demonstrations, the participants gained valuable insights into the processes and procedures of reference material production.

This knowledge exchange represents an important step in enhancing the capacity of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina, ensuring the traceability and accuracy of chemical testing, as well as international recognition in the field of reference material production.
