Acting Director of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina, MSc Milica Ristović-Krstić, attended the 4th Committee meeting of the WELMEC e.V. held in PTB, Braunschweig from May 03 to May 05, 2023.
The meeting was held face-to-face with the option to listen to the meeting online offered to the members and representatives of the liaison organization who were unable to attend in person. A large number of members have been participating in the meeting as well as corresponding members who gave presentations on the latest developments in their organizations (EC, EURAMET, OIML, CECIP, EA, NoBoMet, CSES, and MARCOGAZ). During the meeting, the WELMEC committee, among other issues, adopted the Terms of Reference of WELMEC e.V. Working Group 14 Digital transformation and established an ad-hoc policy working group led by German Delegate, Dr. Dirk Ratschko, to deal with a harmonized approach for charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Europe.
During the meeting, invited guests had presentations on Charging stations for electromobility from the perspective of Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the position from WELMEC Working Group 11 Gas and Electricity Meters.
Representatives of WELMEC member countries, as well as invited guests, had various useful and constructive discussions on future joint work with the aim of strengthening legal metrology activities in Europe.
