Representatives of the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina visited Czech Metrology Institute (ČMI) in Prague in the period from 17.-21. April 2023, The Institute of Metrology of BiH representatives met the general director, Jiri Tesar, and working meetings were held with Radek Zeman, marketing director, and Pavel Novaček, director for development, in the presence of Karolina Weberova, project coordinator. This visit was related to the exchange of information on the development of ČMI and IMBIH in the past period, promotion of the Institute's services, cooperation with industry (calibrations, tests, training, PT/ILC...), and cooperation with universities. Also, the activities that should be realized by the end of the year, when the project „Extension of capacities and services of Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina III“ ends, were agreed upon.

 

In the past nine years, the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina has realized three bilateral projects financed by the Czech Republic through the Czech Development Agency and with the expert support of the Czech Metrology Institute (CMI), and archived many benefits in the field of technical capacity development and expertise, on the basis of which numerous metrological services of the Institute are recognized at the international level, including participation in a large number of European and international scientific research projects. Namely, through the projects implemented so far, the development of laboratory capacities of the Institute of Metrology of BiH in the field of electric quantities, time and frequency, quantity and quality of liquid and gaseous fuels, liquid density, and ionizing radiation has been supported.
