As planned, within the EURAMET Met4TC project, from November 28, 2022. until 02.12.2022. researchers from the Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IMBIH) and the Norwegian National Metrology Institute (JV) worked together for one week in the laboratories of the JV in Oslo.

This is part of activity A1.2.5 of the project, with the aim of evaluating a newly designed triple-type thermometer (TTT) consisting of two thermocouples (type S and N) and an optical fiber used as a sensor of the drift assessment device. After initial difficulties with silica fiber at first, the design was changed, and sapphire fiber was used as the new sensor with much better results. The test was carried out at the fixed-point temperature of aluminum and silver and will continue in the coming months.
