Institute of metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina hosted meeting of COOMET Technical Comity  1.10  - “Thermometry and Thermal Physics” in Sarajevo from 08 to 10-Nov-2017.

Twenty two participants from 10 countries took part in this meeting.

The activities of the Consultative Committee of Thermometry in the organization of comparisons of national standards of thermophysical units and expansion of the measurement capabilities of national metrology institutions in this field were presented and discussed. New projects  were proposed too during the meeting.

Presented was state  of affairs of the redefinition of unit of temperature on the basis of Boltzmann's constant, and realization of these measurements in COOMET.

Thermometry in the field of ambient temperature measurements, was subject on the second day of the meeting.

Scientific and Technical Seminar: "The State and Problems of Improving Moisture Measurement" was organized on 10-Nov-2017, and  covered topics like current possibilities in the humidity measurement, ongoing projects and planned development  in this area. Product line of humidity measurement equipment of Belarus producer POINT was presented during the seminar too.
